Pat and Clive, some new Friends of Della and Don were holidaying in Sri Lanka and very kindly agreed to check out how things were progressing for us.

While they were there they were able to:

• Hand out new shoes and socks for all the children in the Nursery School
• Report back on progress of the new seine fishing nets and boat
• Witness the Village School playing the new instruments which we had agreed to provide on our July trip
• Donate some cricket gear to the school
• Ensure there was sufficient funding to pay for additional lessons for Imesha
• Take plenty of photos and enjoy the hospitality of the villagers!
